ORC Week 6 | Wallpaper

Happy Sunday, happy Mother’s Day, and happy ORC week six!!! I know they say it takes a village to raise babies…but can we talk about the village needed to raise a new bathroom? A poorly timed joke? Perhaps but the way I have needed to lean on my people for this tiny room is…a lot.

I’ve severely over-scheduled my life and had a few personal things pop up. Have I learned my lesson? That remains to be seen. But I know what you’re really here for…it’s finally wallpaper week!! Yes, I built the suspense hard but hopefully, the result lives up to the hype. It certainly does for me.

I mean it when I tell you that I built the entire design around this Milton & King wallpaper. I’ve wanted to wrap this space for such a long time and the perfectly moody and bold tones in the Prancing Peacock paper hit the nail on the head. I love few things more than quality products and supporting smaller companies over large corporations. Milton & King is a family-owned operation partnering with other artists and designers to create unique collections. Speaking directly to my creative bleeding heart.

Up next we’ll be installing all of the new fixtures like the Kingston Brass faucet and then it’s on to styling! I can’t believe how the weeks have flown by. Who’s coming to the cocktail party I’m hosting in this room when it’s done? It might be a little tight but I think we can make it work.
